Ran into the bedroom with a wet strip of negs and was all happy to show the GF....Her exact words.....I AM SLEEPING!

Scanning ??!!?? There is even more of a buzz producing the real prints. There is very little gear needed and it is hugely cheaper than the digital way too.

Well done to the OP for his first film ! 🙂

I will be gettign into a darkroom soon. I bought a full used kit here and I have a class starting the end of the month.

the satisfaction is well woth the minor hassle!
 
David -- I am so excited you are are getting into processing and will be printing your own film. I'm delighted to see my old darkroom equipment getting put to good use, rather than gathering dust in my basement. Keep posting -- like to see what you are doing.

as an aside..did the developing tank have a cap? I could not find it but managed to make it work as it was.....

Great feeling isn't it? I just started printing my own stuff about a month ago too. It's such a great feeling to have complete control from start to finish. I need to buy more chems now that I think of it
