Who's going where this 2008?

Hopefully I'll be spending a few weeks in Serbia. I also want to go to Montenegro, Croatia and Romania, but money is the problem.

I have this weird fantasy of travelling with only a TLR + monopod combo. Has anyone done this?

Mexico in May (shooting a wedding).

And maybe New York ;)

I'd also like to hit up somewhere in Asian too, maybe Malaysia, though realistically I don't think it'll happen this year.

Languedoc & Roussillon in mid September for about a week on a friends boat in the Canal du Midi then a week by train looking at a couple of other French cities, don't know which yet, ending in Paris for a day or so before flying home. Either the Rollei or M3/50/2 or both.

I'm heading off to Venice this Easter - I'm torn between the Pentax SLR and my Canonet or Olympus RC (which has served me well on several foreign trips). Hopefully I'll be heading off this summer to a summer internship somewhere. I've applied to various places all over the world, although nuclear physics research in Kazakhstan sounds fun at the moment...

I don't travel much for fun as I travel a lot for work, but I'll probably get to Southern CA at some point this year to visit family, and I may get to New Mexico in October.

Honeymoon to Australia for 2 weeks in August:
Sydney, Melbourne and Heron Island.

In 2 weeks will go to Big Sky MT to shred the mountain, bringing the snowboard, dont know about cameras :)

1) Berlin for the RFF Euromeet in April

2) North sea oilrig in June to work

3) Argentina and Chile in October/November (hopefully).

Yosemite in May is a definite. I have no other plans because of money and time off work. I was in Poland for a bit of September and October to visit my fiancee. There is always a chance I will go there for a few weeks. If I do we were talking about the next time I am there, going to Czech Republic, Slovakia, and possibly Ukraine. Romania is on that list too so who knows! :p

Dang! Just discovered today that the Manila & Hong Kong trip is most likely not going to happen - cross that one off the list! Now off to plan B & probably C....
Plan B: either Rome (again, but I love the place) or Paris/London (I miss having a picnic by the river).
Plan C: Havana, Cuba... I can pretend to be D.A. Harvey!

Joe: re: folk festival - haven't gone in years; though I recall that lines now are getting longer and longer.

J. Brugger: Western Oregon, at least where I've been, is an incredible place! Hoping one day to rent a waterfront condo/house at some place like Cannon Beach.

EmilGil: Argentina & Chile... wow! Would love to shoot some in these two places. Have a great time!
