Hello, RFFers!
I picked up a signed and framed 16x20 gelatin print by Louis Ouzer, who was known for his images of musicians, who visited Rochester School of Music. I know I have seen this face before, but I have difficulty identifying who is this woman. Any help would be appreciated.
I apologize for the quality of images, but this is all I can manage at the time.

Dave,
I have Google'd Louis Ouzer and his work, and there is very little info available online. I know I have seen this woman before, but I can't recall who she is at all, not what she does either.
Thank you in advance. Hope all is well.

Pablito,
It definitely looks like Wanda Landowska. Now i will try to find out if she visited Rochester School of Music. Thank you.

I am of mixed opinion about the resemblance. It's who I thought of right away given the connection to the music school, but the nose, the hairline, all seem a little different. Could be the lighting though. Hard to tell.

Upon closer examination of the print and photographs available online I came to the conclusion that this is neither Landowska, nor Alpert. Louis Ouzer was photographing not only personnel of the school, but visitors as well. Louis Armstrong, Count Basie and other notable musicians were photographed by him. I think that woman in the photo might be not connected to the school like Landowska or Alpert, but either visited it, or met Ouzer elsewhere.
And I am still drawing a blank...

Well, there is a whole collection at the Sibley Music Library, one wonders if a personal visit to look at the scrapbooks and photos would be possible.

Dave,
I have looked at the list of the prints by Ouzer in the library, googled names of all the women on the list, and all of them look different.

A great puzzle.
I took the liberty to take the picture and crop and straighten it. I entered it in tineye, and then google image search.
Tineye found nothing. Google found similar images, which means just about every historic figure who ever had a b+w picture taken of them. It was quite a list, including most presidents, Fidel Castro, Mandela, Einstein, Malcolm X, and ODB to name a few. 95% male. Not at all close.
