Why are used Nikon F100s so cheap compared to the FM3A?

I sold my F6 but will keep the F100.

Besides being a very good camera the FM3a has become a cult camera, the last of a dead breed. As good as the F100 is it is just another AF SLR in a long line terminating with the current DSLRs.
