im afraid to sell anything else though.. well... i could sell the EOS 3 and 10D

Hmm...those new M4-P pics sorta made me a little weak-kneed for a moment (metaphorically speaking, of course...).

Weren't you planning to sell off the the 10D and EOS 3 anyway? (I say keep the 3 and sell off the 10D - after all, you've got the presumably-much-nicer 5D).

In any event, I think you're going to have to get this camera, if you get my drift.

I know how this is. Selling some stuff to get other stuff sucks. I'm selling some pretty rare and hard to find games to get my scanner, but it's worth it in my mind. I just have to keep thinking about what's more important to me.

And do you really need the printer? Labs can do digital prints really cheap these days. 😉 The scanner is what I'd worry about first, then maybe the printer. 😛

ill get the camera first. the epson 2400 will only come down in price. the longer i wait the better.

im truly bumming to have to sell my H1 to get the 5D, but the trade off is necessary. it makes sense unfortunately. and i can and will be making money with the 5D. and there is no way id be able to afford a digital back in the near future.

Don't know how much the $1 donations would help (wait...there are quite a few members at that...), but as far as printers go, which Epson had you in mind? After deciding a 4800 wasn't in the budget for this year (or maybe even next), I was dejectedly about to "settle" for a 2400 a few months back. Then I accidentally stumble across HP's Photosmart 8750. Shockingly cheaper, same archival specs as Epson's, and now I get great b/w and color from the same printer (for a change). What you save could go more than a little way towards that M4-P...

yeah i was looking at the epson 2400. i have a thing for epson printers. mmmm lol is the HP really that good? ive not heard of it.

if i sell both the 10D ( which i may already have a buyer for ) and the eos 3. lets just say id be RIGHT THERE. hehe.

Hmm...maybe that is worth selling off the EOS 3, too.

The HP 8750 is something of a sleeper - HP announced it last Spring, and I ran across one at an Office Max in the Tampa Bay area while I was in Florida in May to shoot my Nephew's HS graduation. THought about it a little, then a little more after crossing the Epson 4800 off my Real Soon Now list. Jumped for it when I found one at an online superstore for well under $400 delivered. Not disappointed so far.

i had to step down from the m4-p guys.. i have too much money owed right now. and i gotta pay it all off first.. priorities..

ill be looking in the near future for an m6 i imagine. keep me in your thoughts.
