why do I see no mentioning of Fuji XT2 ?

Just curious, I just rented a Fuji XPro2 for a week, But ALMOST rented the XT2 because of the reviews of the EVF (really nice EVF and tbh I use EVF 90% on my x100 versus Hybrid)-seperate ISO dial versus combined shutter/ISO dial though not big for me and XT2 has very quick AF.... but again, for street, the XT2 looks nice- again just curious why I have not seen many comments here re XT2....

Depends on how you define "better". If you don't need the 4k video (I don't), the enhanced AF-C (I don't), or the flippy screen (I prefer the more solid feel of the fixed LCD) then it comes down to ergonomics mostly. I own the Xpro2 but have owned the XT1 and tried the XT2. The RF style body just fits my hand and face much better than the SLR ones. I shoot weddings and events part-time as well as personal work with my gear and the Xpro2 has been the best experience out of all the bodies I've owned (almost every fuji body and quite a few nikon dslrs).

I'm not saying the XT series is bad in any way.

I have both as well and prefer the X-Pro2. X-T2 may be better on paper, and it certainly is the more popular camera, but the rest is subjective. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

In some important ways these cameras are identical. In other ways they are very different.

The fact is very few people in the market place value an optical viewfinder.

I wear glasses, so would I be better off with the XT2? I've read that the viewfinder on the XT2 is about 30% bigger than on the XPro2. If true, that would be very significant.

I've used the XT1 and the XPro1 in the past, but I don't recall there being a big difference in the viewfinder between those two. However, I used the XPro1 quite a long time ago, so maybe I've just forgotten.

I know ... I should get to a camera store and compare them side by side.

Not specifically M lenses bt I have used many manual focus lenses on my xpro2 and I prefer autofocus but it's not bad by any means. I just ordered an m42 shift adapter to use with my helios 44-2 which has been modified to have faux anamorphic bokeh. Should be neat for one off portraits.

I am completely blind without my glasses and have no issues with the eyepoint of the xpro2.

each cameras cater to different photographers, casual and/or prime shooters will enjoy the X-Pro2 more but landscape, sport/wildlife shooters will benefit more with the X-T2.

I'm a big X-Pro fan, more than the X-T line but between the 2 I decided to go with the X-T2 for a couple of reasons
-EVF bigger on the X-T2 allowing me to manual focus easier
-tilting LCD screen convenient for landscape photography
-separate ISO dial more convenient

but when Fuji releases the X-E3, I will downgrade to it.

Of course I agree the best would be to use native AF lenses, but (I still shoot film mainly) having already Nikon and Leica lenses I need I wouldn't like to start a new lenses collection.

Therefore the idea of an X-Pro 2 with a native prime (23 F2 ?) and eventually using some of my other lens when needed, sporadic uses, just an idea...

The size difference is real and you'd notice if you look through both. However, I wear glasses and I use both without any issue. The VF of the X-Pro2 is still very good. And of course the OVF comes in handy in certain situations.
