I have been using this combo for a while and I´m loving it more and more. Just started using Nik software to ad some warm tone to my scans. I love the contrast and the deep blacks that this combo gives me.

Samples:

All shot on M6 and ZM planar (only lens I have for it :()

I'd probably stop taking photos if I couldn't get Tri-X. Just love the blacks and smooth tones it produces. True, it isn't like the "old" Tri-X, but to me it may be even better. Sure is smoother.

That would be a terrible shame! There are lots of great films out there, many of which you would be unlikely to tell from TriX prints without being able to do side by sides. Neopan 400 can be made to look very similar for one and HP5 pushes as well. Surely you have seen stunning, awe inspiring work by others using other films?

Stock Xtol usually gives me a bit smoother grain but 1:1 is my go to dillution, nice shots for sure!
