I didn't know that it was hated.why is street photography so hated?
As far as I know, people don't hate macro, portrait, sports, architecture, landscape or travel photography. To hate an entire genre of photography seems to be completely illogical.

I have always been of the impression that RFF was very street-photo-friendly.

i know we all can't be masters at it but i see pics of cats and flowers and kids that get positive comments...calendar pics at best...
the only people I know of who might hate street photography,
are the ones being photographed without their permission.

It comes down to the McBurger analogy. Very popular in terms of consumption, but not good food.

In post 145 a composition critique is made. This is according to some of my points.
And if I miss "the point" why not try to answer some of the questions in my post?
