You know what I want? Everyone to stop fighting over this.
The purpose of the thread was a rant about the lab. I'm frustrated with my limited options in this town and the fact that I don't drive doesn't help things. I didn't do this for attention, for handouts, or for anything other than to just let off steam. I thank the people who gave me advice; I'll consider it when I do get something. I don't see anything in the original post that should make people think I wanted a handout.
I am kind of down right now. Lots of bills to pay and a very little amount of spending money. I *am* selling a few of the things that I really love to get some other things that I know really should be more important. This doesn't mean that I'm asking for a handout nor does it mean that I really need one. I am okay.
There are a lot of good people on this forum who have been very nice to me in the past. I thank them for this. They've helped me get back into something I loved when I really couldn't afford to do it. I don't need handouts. I need encouragement and I need a place that I can feel comfortable with ranting about things to other people. I have my blog, but a lot of you guys are more experienced than me in a lot of photography-related things so I can look to you for advice. Some of you may also understand my frustration because you've been there. THAT is what I'm looking for.
