Wide-format ink-jet on canvas?

I'm trying to get a print somewhere in the size of 30x40-ish. I called a photo printing company and they use a regular photo printer to print the digital image on photo paper (I'm not sure what the process is called but its a wet print just like you'd use film) then do something with peeling something off of something else then mounting it on canvas and putting it on a stretcher frame and its around $140 for that process for a 30x40 print.

I dont care about quality though, I just want a big print on canvas on a frame and think that ink jet would/should be much cheaper than that.

Does anyone know of a company that offers a service like this at that size? (30x40)
 
I did my business signs as inkjet on canvas from digital. Size was comparable and I was happy with the quality. Too bad I'm on the left coast - surely someone over there does the same.
