Well,

You learn something new everyday. Until recently, I haven't even thought about my slides or negatives. I have been just dropping the roll off at the lab and having them process and scan.

But, now that I am starting to organize umpteen years of slides and negatives, the little portable light box is not as easy to use as my SAMSUNG 23" Monitor!

There are a couple of ways to save a blank white screen but I just did mine in notepad and titled it "Light Table"...works great!

Anyone else got a trick to make slides/negatives organization any easier?🙄

Hmmm...maybe I should explain. I have 35 years of slides and negatives to sort through. When we downsized our house a few years ago, space is at a premium and I do all of my work off my desk. While sorting through all of the slides and negatives, it is easier to see what they are by throwing them up against the LCD screen than dragging a light table around or even using my portable light box.

It is just easier and quicker to sort through all the images in the boxes when you can see what the negatives and the slides are...

Now, once I get everything sorted out by year, and all slides and negatives in sleeves, I need to figure out how to store them. I really do not like binders. Does anyone have a good archive/storage/catalog system?😕
