thank you so much Robert for your kind comment and compliment. In many ways my preferred camera contiune the smaller and lighter Sony NEX5n and Ricoh GXR M, both important features for me, also because of their EVF being moveable. I am a big fan and stout advocate of the later. For my many vintage lenses eventually I wanted a camera with a 35mm sensor. Only after I had given up hope for a pending release of a mirrorless ( or "affordable" rangefinder ) camera that has both a 35mm sensor and a tilting EVF I had bought an used A7.
Certainly it does beat the other two mentioned cameras technically, most importantly with bigger and brighter EVF, better high ISO performance and being faster. Therefore the A7 gets it's fair share of use too.
