Is it possible that a CLA will not correct haze? And, what can one expect to pay for a CLA on a 50mm summicron?

You can check with Youxin Ye. He did some very nice job to remove the haze in my Rigid Summicron.

It depends on who you go with. I will quote you prices, but will not say who from (that is frowned upon in some forums and I'm not sure of the rules here so I don't want to step on any toes). These quotes were as of last week for a 50mm Summicron DR.
Person A
$85 for each part, or $145 for an entire overhaul
Person B
$185 for a complete overhaul

I talked Guss Lazzari and he told me that he sends some work out and if it's bad, people will actually grind some glass off and then he will see a loss in resolution... If it's bad, he told me not to buy a lens, even though it will look clean. I'm not so experienced, but he seems like an honest guy.
