Will a Contax TLA200 flash work on my Bessa R?

I'm attracted by the low profile and pretty good output of the TLA200, even though I know it won't be able to operate as a TTL-sensing unit. Does anyone know if the Contax foot will serve as a "universal" (manually operable) flash?

Same question for the Nikon SB-15...

The TLA200 can be used in manual mode (selectable) along with the zoom selector (28-90mm).
