Well I am hearing rumors of an RX2 but with the a7 and the Zeiss 35mm prime which is the same lens on the RX1 will it hurt RX1/2 sales?
After all the a7 is just an RX1 with an EVF stuck on top. But the RX1s shutter is super quite. About the same as a Canonet QL-17.

If they add a built in viewfinder and made the lens even smaller, it could be a nice option for people who only use one lens.

Hard to imagine how it could not, looking at one dealer, the A7 body is £1000 cheaper than the RX-1 and has a built in EVF. Still need to add a lens of course, but the RX-1 I think would need a serious price re-think to remain competitive. I'm sure if they knocked £1000 off the price of an RX-1, then they wouldn't be able to make them fast enough.
