will it say 10,000 or reset to zero?

Congratulations Joe and best wishes to you and your family. Being a newbie, you have made me feel welcome here. I hope to be able to contribute more in the future and look forward to your next 10,000. Cheers 🙂

Thanks to the people and the posts here I often feel like I'm part of one big global RFF - Range Finder Family!

I'm looking forward to reading everyone's 10 000th!

Good on you all, and particularly to Jorge and Joe.

Sorry, but I must take slight issue with this statement. If there were no wealth of knowledge here, surely people wouldn't stay; however, that wealth of knowledge being the reason to stay is, I believe, not even comparable to the warmth part of it. Let's face it: There have been other sites with equal the knowledge, but not nearly the warmth, and which are now being drained due in large part to this place. The difference is palatable. Huge kudos go straight to you for that, as I think most are aware.

Hats off!

Kudos on the 10K, Joe! Hope to see you still at your next anniversary. When we'll that be? July 2006? 😛

10000 points of light. . . .

10000 points of light. . . .

Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Joe. RFF is one of a kind, and your daily efforts have maintained its soul. Congratulations on Back Alley's 10,000th addition to the character of the forum.

Good health to you.

Thank you,

George Masters

I didn't know. I must have been away for a while. That happens. Hope you are now fully recovered. Much of what you have spoken about here, concerning the site, is due to your steady hand, and I'm sure we all thank you for that.

i can't stand the suspenders either...

but first i want to say a few words.

this forum has become a sanctuary for me, a special gathering place with some very special people who meet here.
i don't want to start naming people cause you know i'll leave someone out and the last thing i want to do is hurt any feelings.

lately we have experienced some 'growing pains' but we have been mature and wise (for the internet) in how these potentially confrontational situations have been handled. i am pleased and proud, truly.

it has been 2 months since i had my heart attack and still barely a day goes by where someone does not ask how i'm doing. my p.m. box holds 500 messeges and there are times when it is near full. (not a typo)
the generosity of the membership is overwhelming.

new members are drawn to rff for the uniqueness and niche area of interest and most stay because of the vast wealth of knowledge and warmth that is here.

i'd like to say thanks to jorge for asking me (seems so long ago) to be the moderator at his then new site.
you're a good boss and i appreciate the free reign you have offered.

and that's it!!

thanks all and i hope and wish you all the best at this holiday season.

Who's Joe again?
Joe is our moderator with the handle, "back alley." He lives in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and he just broke the 10,000 mark for posts. 😉

10,000 post have made quite a few friends. I am glad to have had the opportunity to become one.

Good work Joe.

Funny, I am the only member that Joe hasn't lapped yet as far as post count goes. I feel like I have a target on my back and the late great Dale Ernhardt is in my rear view mirror.

Hey Joe my most sincere congrats ! 🙂 I subscribe completely Rover's comment above.

I'm a bit low on gas lately... regarding post count only, of course, lol !

We're lucky to have you on board and commanding the ship Joe, you really know how to take care of the icebergs 😀

Congratulations for 10K

Thank you Joe for keeping this place so nice and welcoming.
Please don't you or Jorge change anything to this forum: the tone, the software, the topics and off-topics are all perfect.
Happy holidays and many many happy returns.
