Will Pen F lenses Go UP Because of the EP-1?

doubt it, there are so many other choices with the list of adapters.

For sure. Nikon gear was far more expensive to buy once the D70 really caught on. People were justifying a second body of perceived historical significance (FM2n, FTn, original F) just because there was money to spend and the D70 set was paid for already.

I'm positive the EP-1 has sparked some collecting urges. There were Pen FT sets with lenses and cameras on sale on a regular basis on a Dutch internet sales site, but since the introduction I have not seen anymore of them. My guess is they're sold the moment they're posted.

Should have bought that near mint FT with three lenses for EUR 300, it had the 38mm and the 45mm lens in a nice kit... fool that I am.

I am getting a lot of emails from people searching for Pen F lenses to shoot on the new Olympus Micro 4/3 EP-1.

Hmm.

It makes me suspect Pen F lenses will be on the RISE.

I agree, lets begin cornering the market now.
😀
I just got a custom fit 500mm zoomar for my pen FT and EP

Guilty as charged 🙁 Not a PEN but an OM.

While waiting for my E-P1 to arrive, I picked up a mint black OM-1n and 50 f/1.2 and then once I saw the results a 28 f/2. All for considerably less than the E-P1.
That old mechanical quality puts the E-P1 to shame, so I was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived.

Whatever you do, do not look at this site: http://www.olympus-global.com/en/fun/wallpaper/camera/index.cfm?p=15&a=&q=&t=wp

They've been going up steadily for a while, as the G1 has been out a lot longer than the E-P1, but the E-P1 being Olympus will probably make things continue in that direction.

Many Pen lenses are still bargains, like the 38/1.8 which is a great portrait lens on micro 4/3. Much closer focusing than M-mount glass too.
