I sure hope so! All reportas are saying the AF on the x100x is really fast.

For sure the next generation will.
Maybe their names will be X-Pro1S and X-E1S though

Almost certainly since the phase detectors are built into the XTRANS II sensor.

Or will the new, higher end models have an all new and more advanced sensor? Hmmmmm... The possibilities are endless. ;-)

That would be very interesting. I'm already saving up for the X-Pro 2 upgrade to accompany my new X-E1!
I'm hoping for a resolution sensor, in the ballpark of 20-24 megapixels. I know that resolution isn't everything, but I've felt the "downgrade" from my Canon 5D Mark II in terms of size. If they could add a little bit more resolution without having the dynamic range and ISO performance suffer, I'd be extremely happy!

it will be interesting to see what will come to pass...if fuji is willing to wait a bit longer than some are predicting then there will most likely be an even more advanced x body to come.
hard to keep up really...i think my energy in the future will be more concentrated on the image/photography end of things...ya' know...except for bags that is!!

Rather glad that I've waited before getting on the Fuji X ship. The descriptions of the X-Pro 1, plus my own handling experiences in a shop, showed it to be a great camera but too slow for my needs. The X100s looks loads faster and with any luck, the second generation of X-cams will be like that.
