Winding issue

Ugh. I'm sure this is a mechanical problem and I'll have to get it serviced, but seeing if anyone has any experience before I do that.

The symptom is that after a shot is exposed, the lever is stuck. I think there's a switch that allows the crank to be wound. This isn't happening, so it's "stuck". The fix is to open the back of the film and fidget with it a bit, which is obviously not a solution.

Ideas?

That's exactly what I have. Problem is, it continually happens, so I should send it in. I'm no longer in Japan. Cosina JP was awesome - and cheap. I am having problems finding their counterpart in the US though.

Guess I might as well keep the party going:

I found that rewinding the film just a hair will get it to kick back in place. After doing that and taking the camera back out, I got up to bout 20 exposures w/o having it lock, which shows promise. It's good for now, but I think I'll need to send it in sooner rather than later. The finder is slightly off as well, so I have the incentive to send it in. It's my main camera though so I'll need to time it out.
