Dear All,
I am new to all this so please excuse me if I am being stupid. I have recently acquired a rangefinder IIIa and have had a lot of fun with it for two months, taking some successful photos. Last night I found that I cannot 'wind the camera on', i.e. the shutter button will not depress and thus i cannot wind on with or without film. I have correctly loaded and used over ten films. Nothing untoward has happened during this period (no breaks, strange sounds, etc). your advice/knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

sorted it. Split washer underneath winder had jammed down into winder head. Released it tightened washer and now works.
