what are member thoughts on using an inexpensive wine cellar such as the Haier wine celler HVUE12ABB? it is $83 USD.

it can be set between 39 to 72 F. many other wine cellars stop at 65 F.
it appears to be heavy but compact and is thermoelectric so there is no coolant or compressor to worry about noise/vibration. and somewhere it was posted that they use about $20 to $40 USD in electricity a year.
the thought is to use 500 and 1000ml brown plastic bottles to store developer (D76 stock solution for later use as 1:1), fixer (working solution).
or use clean wine bottles with corks that are well labeled to warn not to drink it.
a simple sheet or two of cardboard could cover the tempered glass window on the door.
you would just pull the chemistry bottles out and use with hopefully no need for a water bath to heat/cool.
but it would be wise to put a thermometer into the chemistry to double-check temperatures once measured out for use.
just wondering.
