I went with my girlfriend on Sunday. It was interesting to see his contact sheets. He shoots a lot! I always take a shot and walk away. I think I'll take 5 or 6 next time.

IMO his consistently strongest work came from his NY years when he was taking a shot or two at a time. The contacts with multiple shots are mostly from LA, when I'm told he used a motor drive – and was shooting more often from a car.
