Winogrand interview - pdf

I'm not sure that that's a fair assessment of the interview. I think that Winogrand was genuinely a very modest photographer and really couldn't be bothered with the whole concept of 'photography as an art form'. He strongly resisted photography and more importantly, his photographs, being labelled as artistic commentary and in essence, saw the photographic process as something more simple.
