Wired Magazine Article -- Rangefinders!

Wired Magazine has a one-page article: "Benchmark: Parallax View" on page 48 which pitches rangefinder photography.

Appears to be written by a journalist, not a seasoned photographer, but some interesting points:
- "rangefinder-style cameras have recently surged in popularity as high-performance, travel-friendly digital shooters."
- "great for run-and-gun framing."
- Includes a Cartier-Bresson quote, "literally constitutes the optical extension of my eye."
- Final punch line: "It's not just a camera, it's a way of seeing."

Thanks for the heads up, I haven't gone to the site yet, but will keep looking for the article. "Run and gun" with a RF is certainly easier than reflex viewing. My fastest camera is my Olympus 35RC, too bad I don't trust it's reliability.

Yes, confusing a rangefinder (focusing method) with an optical viewfinder with framelines (viewing method). But in spite of that, I think the Fuji X100 is a brilliant digital camera.
