Here is my wish list for a future Life View ( = LV) type camera with interchangable lens mounts such as the micro 4 3, nex, Samsung ones of this day:

It should have (any of these 3 missing is a no-no for me):

1) 3200 ISO as good as or better than the ISO 400 that is now available on Pany and Olympus (The NEX apparently produces images at 3200 that are indistiguishable from 400 Pany/Olymp shots AND good.)

2) In camera stabilization (Only Olympus has it) for effective use of other lenses via adapter.

3) An electronic tiltable Life View finder. (As available in Pany G1, G2 (non tiltable) and for Oly EP2)

The rest below are not deal breakers but would be nice:
a1) Digital multiformat, 1: 1 up to 3:2

a2) ~ 15 MB images, both output in RAW and fine Jpeg.

a3) A simple photo-only interface mode (other modes such as video may be there, but should not clog up the menu for photographers.)

And of course I assume such a camera would have decent lens adapters, too and a nice user interface.

At this moment the first requirement (3200 ISO excellent) would seem to require an APC size sensor, but maybe the m 4 3 sensor could excel itself soon ...

So in a way I am looking for a NEX 7 or 9 with in camera stabilization and EVF or for a m 4 3 with excellent 3200 ISO (or even higher) capabilities.

Will that ever happen? Your thoughts, please.

Well, the EP-2 already fulfills 2 out of your 3 requirements so I would guess that the EP-3/EP-4 will end up having usable 3200. It's only a matter of time.
