Good news is that I am back holding a camera - bad news I know have one extra bag that drains "bile" from the gall bladder into a small plastic bag ( and need too be emptied twice a day. Damned, one more "bag" subject. It is temporary though (3-4 months!) and then the golf ball is removed.
Next question - how to dress without having the bag tangled up in camera straps?
As usual, our local hospital (Vancouver General) did a stellar job, great staff and after having been on a "Clear liquid" diet for 4 days - even their food tasted good! Film is now backed up to scary levels - must be the influence of the Garry Winogrand show in SF.

I had to wear one of those bags but they removed my gall bladder. The cup of stones they gave me looked like corn. I couldn't beleive the length of that tube when they finally removed it. Didn't hurt but it sure felt strange. Best to you.

Tom, I'm glad to hear you're out and about with your cameras.
Those darn gallstones can cause quite a bit of havoc.
I had never heard of the tube process, my Dr. was too excited and wanted mine out asap.
