Hi to you all.
Some shots from my last portfolio, made of 18 images: http://www.robertofrieri.net/womenintheautumn.html
Hope you like it.
I would be extremely grateful for any critic or advice.

I like nr 2 and the last one. You just have to insist on making photos, and then see what works for you. My principal critique here would be, that these shots look like digital, i.e. the tonality is ugly in the highlights.

Agree with the above.
Also, not sure if the dominant / submissive angle of shots 3,4 serves them.

It's a nice concept, but why limit yourself to just one season? To my eyes some of the images look over processed, e.g. #5/18 and #9/18.

There seems to be a mix of styles (portrait, and I'm not sure what you'd call some of the others), where perhaps one consistent style would give more coherency to the collection. What are you trying to say about women in the autumn? From looking at the photos, I'm not sure..

Hope this helps.

Regards,

I would reconsider the title, or rather ask do the images communicate that they were shot in Autumn, without having been told so in the title. Aside from that, I think you have some quite nice images in there, but think your editing could be tighter, as unless each image is communicating an element of the overall narrative and also strong enough as images, that several of the images could be easily culled.

Thank you all very much for your kind and precious comments/feedback.
I am using a calibrated monitor for editing and I have set the exposure/contrast to my personal tastes.
