Women's Anti-Trump Protest March

Awesome photos.
Noone mentioned the cleanup after the new year celebration in NY City so i don't think that should detract from this important event.
I hope it will continue till we have a legit president.

I'll let the photos speak for themselves politically. They are good images.

Impressed with the turn-around. Getting to and from the protests took time. Shoot, process, scan, post all within a day. Thanks for the efforts! I've still film to process after two months out west.

They sure did a good job trashing the place up. That to me defeats the cause.

You must be laboring under the mistaken belief that this was a rally against littering. :D
This tiny sign says "Does this make my hands look big?" :p

Some may disagree, but it always helps to have a sense of humor I think. And I'm happy to see plenty of people still care enough about issues to get off their butts and assemble, instead of just whining and crying about things on twitter... like some people do. ;)

I'm still processing and scanning the stuff I shot yesturday here in Oakland

but here's one of the better ones

Fascinating: this is a thread about a political demonstration and you guys are arguing about trash!? :D

It's settled as far as I'm concerned. But if you saw all the crap post I saw on Facebook I'm glad I brought it up. You clarified some things I wasn't aware of. So with this I'm done.:D Please post more photos.

Photo's that I saw showed that protesters just threw signs on the ground.

Signs were left in piles at the white house as part of the protest. It wasn't just random littering.

I saw a zillion pictures from the marches on social media, and longed for some really well composed images—these are great! Glad you went and documented it.

I like the OP's photos; tonality, contrast, post processing, cropping, framing, editing for impact: subject too political for this forum.

Stephen, excellent work. I was going to attend the march in Seattle and take some photos, but the expected crowd of 50,000 turned out to be closer to 175,000. The streets were so crowded the logistics were problematic.
