The above lens has a ZK name ring, but the mount and aperture ring are Jupiter-3 from later than 1951. No wings on the aperture, and the focus mechanism does not have the stop screw going through the focus ring. It is a Jupiter-3 with a ZK namering. Could the glass be older than the rest of the lens? Only way to tell is buy it and take it apart.

If it was the same price as a regular J-3, would be worth it. But the premium for a ZK- I would avoid this one.

Current eBay auction 200715149248. No relation to seller. I wonder about the authenticity of this lens, given that no CZJ serial numbers are visible on the black ring extending from the rear of the lens. Also appears to lack the aperture travel screw on the focusing ring that the ZKs and LTM Sonnars exhibit. Doing pretty well on price so far at $237 with two days left in the auction.

Not that it has anything to do with authenticity, but someone has buffed the hell out of this lens; gotta admit that the obviously fake chrome lens caps are kinda cool, though. I am watching this one for entertainment value.
