As for the story of the expedition, these photos were taken over many trips through out the season. The ships are science ships chartered for tourist, sometimes scientists, sometimes to supply the many science stations around the continent.

Ductape, its funny you are posting photos taken onto the Bark Europa as I am currently sitting in Ushuaia and the bark is docked here!, I see it from my window...

great pics, you really know how to use your xpan! what film/scanner do you use? 🙂

To scan the recent ones I was lucky enough to use a scanner Hasselblad Flextight X5, at 20$ an hour and did it myself. Otherwise I've had last season developed in Buenos Aires in a proper lab for a bargain with the exchange rate.

For the film I'll use anything I can find at the time, usually whatever you find in the tourist shops in Ushuaia.
