Very cool.
Need to keep my eye open as I sort through stuff around here. We used to have two digital kids cameras many moons ago, wonder if they would count......

How about a Zeiss Box Tengor? Would that qualify. Guess it wasn't considered a toy when it was current.

By today's standards a camera with one shutter speed (not counting B), and fixed aperture, or even maybe as many as 3, counts as a toy camera. I will see if I will be able to go out with my Brownie No2 Model D tomorrow.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, a meniscus lens does help, even if it is glass, as in the Brownies.

Good point. Even Holgas have a glass lens option.By today's standards a camera with one shutter speed (not counting B), and fixed aperture, or even maybe as many as 3, counts as a toy camera. Guess I'll be digging up a plastic fantastic camera that's in the attic somewhere and load it with B&W film. See what I get!

World Toy Camera Day 2014
Grabbed the closest one to the desk, Greg, and headed out last Saturday.

The camera only has one shutter speed of somewhere between 1/40 and 1/60, so I loaded it with 100 ISO for a cloudy day. It seemed to be just right, though I had to do a lot of work on most of the images, mainly to reduce the diffuse lens flare.

nice photo's Phil. that's about what I expected to see from a Toy camera. I haven't developed the roll of 120 from the Holga yet. Will post when I can.

I went a bit overboard and took out not one but two toy cameras: a Brownie Hawkeye with the lens reversed (Fomapan 200) and a Holga 135 Pan (Kodak Gold 200). Here's a small selection.
