This has been a pondering question for sometime, who are the best black and white labs in the world, when it comes to black and white archival printing in Asia, Europe, N. America?

This guy sounds good, had a few good email exchanges with him. Will develop in D-76. Next time I have a big job, too much to do myself, I may give him a try.
APM Darkrooms is very good in NYC but she gave up her commercial space and works out of a private darkroom now.

huh?
pardon my curiosity, but what would you expect to pay at the world's best black and white lab (the topic of the thread you posted that reply in...)
Ive found their prices a complete bargain for the quality of the work they do. There are a long list of places that charge as much or considerably more that are garbage.
many high end labs I have used over the years use xtol primarily because it can be used in a dip and dunk, it has a longish shelf life and is fine grain. There are better developers without question, but Xtol has been a real common thread in most pro labs Ive used over the last 15 years.
Kelton will hand process with just about any chemical you want, at least they have done so for me in the past.
