Worldwide Pinhole Day photographs ...

I don't make pinhole pictures, but I absolutely LOVE these - the feelings are wonderful !

Would it be cheating if someone got a pinhole kit of some kind and attached it to a DSLR?

(The crowd booed and started throwing things at him 😀 )

EDIT: I actually have a pinhole camera but processing the 120 film cost me a fortune,
so the camera sits under glass in the parlor . . .

Hi Dave, it really looks like a beautiful camera, congrats! If you go through the WWPD gallery page you'll find many pinholes pictures made by DSRL "lensless" modified cameras! They are all great!

Okay, I just dropped $10.50 on a pinhole body cap for my D5100. Let's see what happens. (If I did the math right, fstop = 232.5. Optimum pinhole diameter = .24mm, actual pinhole = .20mm - not too bad I guess)

For sure it is interesting this combination of an high tech camera with the old technology of the camera obscura 🙂

PS: I do not understand why each time I open this thread a pop up window ask me to go to the patrickjames area, it's quite disturbing...

Here's another from Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day 2013:

Ricoh GXR-M + Skink Pinhole (F47 Zone Plate)

Yes, I find the combination of a pinhole and a high-tech digital camera to be a lot of fun! I have Skink pinhole lenses for my Olympus FT and mFT, and Leica M-bayonet mount.

enjoy!

(dunno about the Patrick James thing. It's bugging me too. might have to do something about it...
there, I fixed it. 🙂

Maybe late but very good Oliver, I like the painterly look in the first and the expolosion of colors in the Mini shot.

I made no new exposures this weekend.
It was oppressively hot at the park on Saturday morning. I rode my bicycle.

The day felt like this, taken on WPPD ...
