Hmmm. There's currently a Buy-it-Now $1500 chrome SP on feebay usa as well -- but the "chrome" isn't "verified" as original either.

I disagree,
this is definitly a repaint!! These are color images and the dot is white!!
Why would'nt the seller disclose authenticity? The fact is the seller has 100% positive feedback!! Professional seller?
This kinda seller doesn't disclaim authenticity unless they knew better!!
I will stick with the NHS numbers!!

I can't find on the NHS site, the number's list (of black bodies )you are talking about.
Is the list only for NHS members, or everybody can consult that list ?
Because after reading your comments, I wonder if my black S3 No 6312906
is an original one .
Anyway I love it and use it....But now ...I want to know

It's all besides the point now,somebody write that number down!
Once the camera reaches Japan,within a few months time, it will look like a Brand new camera anyway,then we will be talking about it selling for $5K to $8K!!
