Worse than a Visoflex?

Is there any reason one could not use an old PLOOT (pre-visoflex mirror reflex housing) on an LTM Bessa body -- on, say, a Bessa L?

I recognize such a setup would probably be maddeningly clumsy...

It's much thicker and can't give infinity with a 65mm.

Thanks, Roger! I'd be using it with older lenses (e.g. 20cm f4.5) so the thickness would not be a problem. It's a "special project" situation where, if I understand the setup correctly, the 30x magnification of the POOIM finder might offset the other hassles involved.

I _do_ love the 65mm on a "real" visoflex on the Bessa T, or ZM.
