Worst. Repaint. Ever!!!!

OH Geez. Its rare all right. Rare because we haven't seen something so poorly done before.

Looks like a lame job of masking rather than tape. I can still see the texture of the original skin showing through.

But then again it gave me some other idea, i mean with something like that, no one would like to steal it, huum .. maybe I´v got an idea for a slackercam ?
But then the paintjob should be done better and more creative than that.

Hmmmm... Maybe we could do up an FSU camera in Chia Pet fashion. You know, some clay and alfalfa sprouts and sell it as a "Rare Greenpeace Special Edition Leica."

If it was only a bit cheaper, I'd be tempted to buy it and send it to the next person on the list once I finally get the wandering Canonet. Besides, I kinda like it. Looks like something you'd see in a garden, next to a yard gnome.
 
Okay guys, put your hands over your hearts. It's the colors of the Ukranian Flag, right?... But with all due respect -------------- I'm still getting queezy.. :(
 
You beat me to it. I don't know why nobody noticed it was the Ukrainian flag colors. I'm sure it's in good taste there. Why, it's in good taste here to paint trucks in flag colors, right? And bandanas?
 
With all due respect to Ukraine, I believe that the seller has run out of orange coverings, and has to make do with yellow and blue....

Anyway, if it was cheaper, you could just tear of what ever covering that is and help the lady into a nicer dress from a real tailor (say camera leather, etc)
 
I knew it was the Ukrainian flag right away (after all, there are plenty Ukrainian freight ships on the Danube River) - but that still does not make that bad paintjob nicer...
