Would a New Old Stock Xpan be an issue?
I figure it might be 5 to 10 years old, with no exercise or actuation.
Would it be in need of an immediate CLA?

No. Or yes. Maybe. That is, "new old stock" could have spent ten years on the top shelf of a gentle, air-conditioned camera store, but just as often it means "recovered after a decade in a damp, dilapidated warehouse".

If it's genuinely NOS, packed with the silica gel, etc., it really shouldn't matter, within reason, where it was stored.

Thanks guys. It is in a camera store in Montreal, that is legendary for "discovering" NOS stuff, of amazing rarity.
