I sspect that if I dropped my M2 into the coffee, quickly fished it out, shook it, and wiped it off with my shirt tail I could continue to finish the roll. Do that with your M9 and you'll still be crying at Christmas. I buy my mugs at Goodwill so they look good with my Leicas.

Don't let the M9 get too close to the hot coffee. The heat will increase the sensor's noise level. In addition to the usual IR/UVa filter, you should also protect it with a caffeine filter.

Of course it will! Everyone should get one to look good at a coffee shop... If you guys need some funds to cheap in a M9 I will gladly buy your old, unstylish and uncool M8s, MPs, M2s, M4s and M6s for dirt cheap. I love new releases from Leica :=)
 
C'mon, post #3481 and you're posting pointless topics like this? The M9, which doesn't yet exist looks better in the trash, along with this thread, please. I'm not trolling, but c'mon, do we need this thread along with all the other wasteful threads? I remember this forum was full of quality....

I guess some folks really have nothing useful to say, or else too much time on their hands, so they make up these stupid threads. I can not believe that I'm posting on a dumb thread like this:bang:

However, to get back on topic, I think the M9 and M8 would look just fine IN a pot of really hot coffee:D

As expensive as the M9 will be, the cup of coffee will be in a foam cup. From a homeless shelter. ;)
