Would you look at this :)

Way to go! Good thing I ordered my copy yesterday, before it sells out 🙂

Wow, Jorge....... I know THAT article makes your day and you deserve it too! That's a really nice plug for the RFF book.

I did have to laugh about the "Best Lens Line Killed Deader-n Hell by Leicaphiles....". It's funny and yet it isn't funny. The Hexanar lenses are undoubtedly fine creations but they are also competing in a limited market and that's difficult to do for any product. I'm not so certain that Leicaphiles killed the lenses on purpose as much as deciding that they didn't offer anything new and just didn't buy them.

And a great plug for the forum, too, consideriing Mike's large audience. Congratulations Jorge, and to all those involved in putting together the RFF book!

yay! i've been waiting for him to make pdfs of the 37th frame available.

he's talking about the incompatability rumors, i think.

The Leicaphiles severely wounded the Hexanons because of the so-called non-compatability issues they carped about. Konica finished the job with their idiotic marketing positioning.

Nice to see the plug both for the forum and the book. The book is still pretty high on the lulu.com bestseller list. 🙂

Actually a 50mm M-Hexanon sold on eBay for $316.00 a couple of weeks ago. That's a pretty good price for a lens that challenges the Summicron.

And the prices seem to be going up. For the rest of the M-Hexanon line (28/2.8, 35/2, 90/2.8, 21-35) as well.
