Hi guys !
I am looking for some guidance. Looking for an amber filter. Wratten 85 or 85B would suit me the best. I want a screw-in, no gels or other stuff please. The #1 on my list is a 46mm, others can wait.
Long story short. I want a good amber filter on my ´lux. I dont want to throw some "kinda fat" "knock off" on there. Would prefer Heliopan or B+W (Hoya too). I can only find them in the states, shipping to here on these little guys is 3-4x the price of the filter, which seems crazy.
46mm 85 or 85B, slim, shipping in/to Europe.
I am unable to find anything that would suit me.
So I need some help from the endless knowledge pool of this forum.

As I expected. Fotoimpex finally responded.
"Thank you for your email. Unfortunatly the filter KR 15 / 85B - Diameter: 46mm is no longer available. Heliopan has discontinued it."

As all tungsten film has been discontinued, there is no more application for these filters - so they are not made any more.
It used to be a very widespread filter, sold in much higher numbers than black-and-white orange or red filters, so there actually are tons of used ones around. But they are too undesirable to sell for anything worth creating an ebay entry for, so offers of individual filters are rare. Your best bet would be to pick cheap convolutes of broken or otherwise useless filters, there usually are daylight to tungsten conversion filters among them...

That is a funky site indeed. Sadly I am unable to find any 46mm 85/85b filters.

For what it's worth:

and a quick ebay search:

If a local clearance sale of odd respooled film made from a out-of-production industrial cine stock is a indication of continued existence, so be it...

Joosep,
Check your PMs. I recently acquired a 46mm Hoya 85B filter for which I have no use. It is not a slim filter, however. I would be willing to send it to you from the USA for cost of shipping.
