I have seen some comments about slow write speed by X-Pro 1
Well, just measured the times:
Kingston 16GB 100X card was slow indeed: film simulation bracketing took 4.4 sec to write 3 jpegs, 6fps burst of 12 images took 1min48sec
Then I put Sandisk Extreme Pro 16GB card in, first test down to 2.3 sec, second test down do 24 sec....
Best 60 bucks I ever spent :)

From what Wiki shows the 100X is 14.6MB/s. I use the Sandisk Extreme Pro U1 95MB/s. I have verifiesd that is is faster than a Class 10 card.

I use Lexar 64GB 600x.

I had two of these, one was faulty - didn't work anymore after I downloaded the jpgs after the first shoot. Lost the raws and the card couldn't be formatted anymore. The second gives when copying large amounts of data to a 2011 Macbook Air. It still works though and has no issues in Windows. Maybe the card readers in older macs aren't 100% compatible.

The speed is good. But next time I'm going for the sandisk extreme pro.

(On Amazon you'll find some customer reviews from people with similar experiences.)

Geertvn: call lexar. I had similar problem years ago with their card in canon 1Dmk2. They sent me new card with updsted firmware and canon also put a fix in the camera's firmware and i used it for years. I think i still have it, unusable for fuji as it's cf card

I returned the faulty one and got a full refund from amazon. I'm a little worried about the second one and won't use it on the mac again.
