Anyone got a surplus and/or scratched-and-dented push-on front lens cap for a version 2, 43mm filter-threaded, 50mm f/1.4 Summilux? (Pictured below.) Required for use, not for display. It can be butt-ugly, as long as it'll stay in place during normal handling. Will reply to all PMs.

(Hope this isn't considered abuse of the discussion forum, but my WTB in the classifieds only got 9 views, and I'd really like to find a stoopit cap.)

I think mine only came with a reversible hood and a cap for the reversed hood.

A step ring and a contax G CC1 hood might not block the finder windows.

I've got a repro vented aluminium hood from ebay's "heavystar" inbound. No cap for that one. Shouldn't block my finder much, though.

As for the link to the eBay cap, thank you very much. But, at the risk of starting something, I just have a problem supporting makers and sellers of *fakes*. I applaud the seller for describing his cap honestly, but it still has that damn big LEICA script on it. Without it, it'd be harmless, and it would still meet my requirements.

Maybe I'm just stuffy.
