The screen on my Treo 600 broke. So I ordered another one off of ebay, but the seller seems to be jerking me around. Three weeks, no screen no email. I have lodged a complaint with Paypal and my creditcard company. But I don't want to buy ANOTHER screen until I know how this is all going to shake out.

Worst of all, I still have no cell service. So I'm trying to hunt down a Sprint cell that someone might not be using. Could be just about anything as long as it's within a few years of being "recent".

Let me know. We can working something out for trade or $$.

Josh,

I have a Motorola i60c that I used on the Nextel network prior to the merger of Nextel and Sprint. Would that be of any use to you or must it be a Sprint GSM-type phone?

Sprint is CDMA, not GSM. But I'm not sure that a nextel phone will work. Since I have a "sprint" account. Then again, I have no idea how the sprint/nextel network is set up.

Check with Sprint and let me know whether you can use it. I guess though that as it probably won't let you pull your sim card out of the Treo and plug it in the Motorola it won't work. I think the phone will work only with a 32K sim card and I'll bet the Treo has a 64K or greater card.

I quit using it because I no longer needed the push-to-talk function, and they want a 2 year contract to activate it. I have the sim card, chargers, manual, etc. If it'll work it's yours for the cost of postage.
