Ouch... This is a new level of tastelessness... Now I'd like to hear what those that hate swirly bokeh have to say about this

Would you prefer bokakeh?
"Bokehmorphic" makes sense because you can change the shape of the bokeh.

Tastless maybe, but don't be too hard on SLR Magic after all these are being touted as 'toy lenses' and it's only for a bit of 'fun'. No different to the 'tastless' in-camera 'art/style filters' all p&s cameras seem to come with these days. Think fish eye, pop art, vignette, old photo, etc....

It's nothing new. Folks used to do this in the 70's as well. I have a few photo books that describe the process.

perfect for those that cannot handle a pen knife and some black cardboard! 125 bucks well spent, eh?
this odd shaped bokeh thing takes 3min to get boring. i made a cardboard mask once to shoot some custom bokeh images for a photography blog i had with some friends

I'd prefer that people didn't concentrate on bokeh as the #1 element in a photo above content, composition, etc. Yes, I'd prefer bokakeh...at least that is funny. However, wouldn't that be more appropriate for a lens that squirts out something one you hit the shutter?
