X-Pro1 issues with optical viewfinder frame lines and m adaptor

I noticed that the frame lines on the optical viewfinder of my xp1 appear to be much less bright when I'm using my Leica lenses on the camera with the fuji M adaptor ring than when using normal Fuji Lenses. This phenomenon becomes very evident under full sun light conditions, where the frame lines (plus all other infos displayed with them) become completely invisible (instead of when using Fuji lenses, where they are finely usable) thus making the optical viewfinder totally useless. To see where I am aiming I need to obscure the little vf window and check where frames, etc., are.... absurd! I wonder if this weird phenomenon is normal (though annoying) or if I'm facing some issues with my camera or adaptor ring... this happens with all of my Leica lenses, and none of my Fuji ones.

U need to turn up the intensity of the ovf. Initial default uses the same brightness as rear panel LCD. Not sure why manual lens attachment behaves differently..

Evf and ovf brightness are tied together, but LCD is not. Default behavior is to change LCD brightness. Under quick menu, look for the brightness icon... When u have your eye away from the ovf, this adjustment will e for the LCD.

Exit and now go back to brightness mide but this time with eye looking thru the ovf... When u now change the brightness level it will be changed for both ovf and evf..

Once u have adjusted the brightness of the ovf, your frame lines for manual legacy lenses should be visible in bright sun light.
