X-Pro2 Questions

Hello

Could any X-Pro2 owners answer my questions, as I cannot
find any info online.

- Movie Mode, does the video mode allow manual selection of
shutter, aperture, ISO etc ?

- When manual focusing with OVF, do the framelines move as
you focus, or only when you tap the shutter button like in X-Pro1 ?

With a Fuji lens in MF the framelines move as you focus. With an adapted lens they don't move. I will try movie mode and let you know.

I read a bit about the video mode on DPReview.
They mention the ability to adjust some settings, but
fail to mention if it possible to set the camera to
complete manual exposure for video. [ IMHO the only
serious way to shoot video ]

Just downloaded and had a look, but sadly it is very vague
regarding movie mode exposure.
It only mentions focus adjustment, and exposure compensation, which is rather worrying for manual exposure . . .

I am not a video guy but.... just tried movie mode for you. It took awhile to figure out how to turn it on... it isn't in the drive menu like I expected. You have to assign Movie to one of the function buttons.

It works just like the camera does in stills mode. If you are in auto exposure it runs movie mode in auto exposure. Auto ISO as well. And it will adjust exposure while filming, so if you go from shadow to light it does adjust for it but does so a little slowly.

If you instead set an F stop, ISO and shutter speed it uses those settings. If you are doing 1080p/60 it looks like you can not go below 1/60 of a second shutter speed which makes sense.
