While it is well known that slide film has much less exposure latitude than color negative film my question is as follows:
What happens when cross processing? Does the film / slide keep its inherent exposure latitude, or is the latitude rather a result of the process, i.e. will a color negative film developed in e6 need a rather accurate exposure or not?
I´m shooting a roll of expired XPS160 with the intention of crossprocessing, but using a yelllowed 50 takumar, I can only guess at the correct exposure.
Any info on the above question would be of help,
thanks, jan

To my knowledge Xpross (E6-c41) does not increase the film latitude.
