Remember when you were a kid, looking at the adverts in the back of the comic books? There was always an ad for a pair of 'X-Ray Specs' which were supposed to enable the wearer to see bones through hands, see through clothes, and so on [insert cheesy 1960's wolf-whistle here]. I am told they didn't work; God knows how many horny boys would have cheerfully choked the CEO of that company to death for their deception. But time marches on, and here I am road-kill.

I remember a couple of years back, some brands of video camera were discovered to have the ability to 'see' through clothes - they were quickly pulled from the shelves by the manufacturers, and those who already had 'em made a mint on eBoy.

Here comes a company that makes a filter that apparently does the same thing. I ain't worried. I'm no prize, and any buddy sees me nekkid but my wife is gonna be screamin' and runnin' for the door.

I think it is simply an IR filter with loads of marketing oozing out of it. if you disable any camera's IR blocking filter in front of the CCD and buy any ol' IR filter should work the same?
 
Funny that they list alot of useful applications but all of them, except one, come AFTER the voyeurism.

Actually, these are bad news. Soon we will have rules/laws prohibiting all kind of public photography because three teenagers were using this trick to satisfy their biological curiosity and got caught. :(

It was interesting to note the different filter sizes, from 27mm to 52mm. Could be interesting to users of some RF cameras to experiment with IR. Still, I thought their prices were a little high. Of course, I have never bought a glass IR filter, using only gels from Kodak.
