X-trans raw files compared?

thanks for sharing the link gary. it's a bit disappointing to see that ACR cannot really do much more than the JPEG file. here is how it looks for me (100% crop). note that the foreground (not shown) and the background (the building) are both in focus so there should not be any issues with depth of field.

It's possible to beat or at least match the internal Raw converter with LR/ACR even in the foliage department, but other converters often lead to crisper results. As usual, choose your parameters wisely and don't waste your time with "default settings".
