It depends ... if the camera has been in storage for ten years or more I'd be tempted to get it CLA'd.

Just don't send it to DAG ... by the time you get it back it'll be obsolete!

For extra smoothness, do CLA before first use!

And also,once CLA'd ensure you iron your SD cards before using to make the experience even smoother. 😉

The fact that this threat has received so much attention is testament that you can make up any thread about the X100 right now, and people will comment. Kinda makes me want this camera less now.
